Capacity Building for Ministry of Education Officials

The project delivered a two-day intensive training for officials of the Kaduna State Ministry of Education using the HADIS Ethical Technology Handbook as a practical framework for learning. The training focused on ethical technology governance, responsible AI adoption, digital safeguarding, data protection, and policy integration within educational systems.

Participants explored key topics including artificial intelligence in education, technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), AI bias, misinformation, digital rights, and data governance. Through group exercises, practical demonstrations, and policy discussions, participants developed strategies for strengthening institutional safeguards and promoting responsible technology use across schools and educational institutions.
