Child Protection

Child Protection

This project is designed to strengthen the capacities of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), youth-led associations, networks, and community leaders to prevent and respond to violence, exploitation, abuse, and harmful practices against children. Through advocacy, capacity building training, and community engagement, the project focuses on creating safer environments for children and empowering stakeholders to take proactive measures to safeguard their rights. Our ultimate commitment is to build communities where every child is free from harm and able to thrive.

Edu4All Project

Edu4All Project

The Edu4All Project is a transformative initiative advocating for inclusive, quality education for out-of-school children affected by humanitarian crises and insecurity in Zamfara State. We focus on enrolling children into schools and empowering women in underserved or internally displaced communities, ensuring they have access to life-changing opportunities. By breaking barriers to education, we aim to give every child the right to learn and grow, regardless of their circumstances.

Digitskills4All Project

Digitskills4All Project

Through the Digitskills4All Project, we equip young people in Zamfara and Kaduna states with essential digital skills to open doors to the future of work. By providing training in digital literacy, freelancing, and remote work opportunities, we empower youth to be self-sufficient, economically empowered, and globally connected. Our goal is to reduce unemployment and promote self-empowerment, preparing youth for the digital economy.

I come from Mai Shuwaku Community in Zamfara State. Smart Aid Initiative has enrolled my son, Yusufa, in school and supported us to start a business. I am very happy and excited today. I pray that Allah blesses and protects them.

We have been displaced here in this host community, Saminaka, for one year now without any resources to enroll our children in school or start a business. I am beyond happy to see my son enrolled in school and to have received empowerment to start a business. May God bless Smart Aid Initiative.

The past three days have been very interesting on the course on female ginital mutilation, the take home for me is learning the terms, understanding the punishment and the way forward to eliminate female genital mutilation. Thank you Smart Aid Initiative for hosting this capacity building.
